OK...second season. New league of CPU teams with player ages 40+ and skill levels of 4.5 to 5 stars. Ummmm... really? I'm still in debt from last season, had to cut several high salary, higher skilled playe es. No $$$ to improve stadium. Is a successful season even possible?

One of the complaints of this game has always been how slow it takes to develop. I have been playing since 2012....Last edited on 2020-02-05 at 23:15

Set your offense to an I-Formation with a FB/C and HB/C and set your team orders to 100% run on all 4 downs. Set your defensive team options to:

1st down - run
2nd down - run
3rd down - pass

Do that and you will blow out almost every bot team no matter who they have.

The game is slow until you can promote to higher levels with few bots but you shouldn't have any high salaries at this point. You simply don't need much talent. Advance with low wages, develop young players evenly and build cash and invest in revenue producing items. There is no short cut to last long term.

Do this and you can also blow out any human's team as well -- at least for those team owners who didn't realize the game swung in the exact opposite direction last year, and the RUN is super overpowered now.

Listen to BSwagger and save up cash. If I started all over, I'd build the bank to 100 million before heading to TD

I echo what they said. The worst thing you can do is try to get promoted too quickly. Your team will get eaten up by the higher salaries required to be competitive in the higher divisions. Take your time, build your organization, and save your money. Then focus on promoting.

I (like other people here) have learned the hard way that rushing will lead to disaster and cause you to have to completely rebuild.

the top team moves up one division. the bottom three from the division above demote. divisions are set up like a pyramid meaning each level up has less divisions.
