The fact that it was high talent players involved made me wonder if the whole thing was a transfer of money in one direction or a transfer of talent in the other direction.

Since I was outbid on both transfers I have to guess it was a transfer of talent. But no way of telling for sure.

So the likelihood of having multiple teams & being caught is very small...... Unless suspicious transfer activity is reported by some other manager

I do not think it is small. Many managers are aware of the market and those multiple teams. The problem is not being caught but what is meant to be done with those who are caught. It is admins' work after all.
