I must say, I have not been met with a beating like that since my first stop in TD. Way back in Season 12ish, I started my first season in TD and got smacked around in back to back weeks by Hakers and then Blitzkrieg. Total annihilations, were talking 40 plus point beatdowns! None of those compared to the thrashing the USA team took today at the hands of Spain. Well done, there was nothing that would stop the train called Spain, today. You are very deserving of the finals spot and if I was betting money, no offense to your opponent, but it would be all placed on Spain to emerge victorious on Thursday

Congrats to Russia, they shut down the formidable team from Spain. I will have to rethink ever trying to pass again in this game! Rushing attack is now deemed to be almost unstoppable. Congrats also to Poland for shutting down the USA team for second straight game. I love the defense Russia used, very solid effort and worked quite well. I think Spain may have used up all their trick plays on my team in the semi-final blowout or they were just tired from all the running

Congratulations for Nick and his russian team! A perfect campaign (14-0) ending in a brilliant way. All my respect.

I have a lot of respect for Nick and his russian team but even with a perfect record until know I still can not take his team as a contender for the title. All the 5 games played by Russia during the final phase of WC 24 were very thight:

52-49 over Germany
48-42 (OT) over Ireland
27-21 comeback over Brazil
35-24 comeback over Finland
52-49 (OT) over Poland

Will this team win the final game by a small margin? Everything is possible!

I must be quite happy to be the team that conceded the least yards for Russia during the final phase. Only 388 yds (82 passing + 306 rushing), allowing 8.3 yd/rush (2nd best) and conceding the lowest score (27 points). Maybe next time...

Congratulations for Russia No doubt they were the best this season.

It is a pity that only RB can be played in this game. In the NFL... even in the Polish league, the most important is pass. Here if you have QB, WR and TE with a 104k salary, you have no chance versus RB with a salary of 70k. Bravo Melderon team!

Actually the great player in the running engine is the FB. You can run easily with an elderly bot player with low abilities if you have a monster FB and some strong OL. But nick's virtue in the final game was figuring out how to stop the running game of Spain.

Why am I spending a lot of money for QB, 2x WR, TE playing worse than playing FB and HB on an average level? In addition, when playing passes there is a chance to be intercepted.

Because you did not find a proper FB to fit in your team. I am developing one on my own based on former Scottish Raiders FB during S27 IB (Mike Wolfs).

Look at this match. Poland - USA

The average RB win vs. fantastic WR. I set against run. I can show you a million similar matches where attempts to pass lose against defense set to run.
