It's a good suggestion, having people rely on their scouts. And it's a good idea to double check when dealing with large amounts of money. However, it can cost you if you make the buyer rely only on scouts or prove yourself untrustworthy.

There are a limited number of scouts available each week. If I happen to use all my scouts and I don't trust the seller, I won't bid or will only bid small amounts. However, if I trust the bidder, I'm usually willing to keep bidding, thus driving up the price at the very least. I'm sure I'm not the only one that does this.

By being dishonest in a reply about a player, you've potentially cost yourself quite a bit in future dealings.

Also, I will add.......if you're out of scouts on a given week, simply ask a manager you do trust if they will scout someone for you and then return the favor at some point. As long as you are not posting the information in the forums, I don't think a PM would be any problem
