ATTENTION !!!! ATTENTION !!! ATTENTION !!!

Can you PLEASE fix this new bug that you have now created regarding the training of a player in multiple positions ??!!

It was first noticed about 2 months ago that when training a player for a 2nd position he is LOSING half a star bpos on his original position when reaching the max bpos on his 2nd position.

This was never the case before and so is obviously the result of the ongoing, unannounced tampering that you have been doing with the game engine.

Please fix this immediately.

Ps. It would also be appreciated if you would inform us all of what you are doing/attempting to do with the match engine. I'm not the only one that has noticed changes within the game play for, say, the last 12 months or so. Is it really the best policy to make amendments unannounced therefore completely limiting your opportunity to receive useful feedback from those you are effectively using as guinea pigs (whilst still taking their money) ?

Appreciated

This has been happening for quite a while now, long before the recent update. There is a fix for this. When the player reaches maximum rating at a position, play him a few more games. Then when he reaches the maximum rating for the new position, he'll still be listed at the old position for a few games, until 1 game more than what he played at the previous position, but when he overtakes, he won't lose the .5 star.
I caught this early on when I first started dual positioning players and have been using the fix ever since. I generally play them 4 games over though I think that 1 game might be enough. The bad part is that a lot of the time that a player loses that .5 star, it takes another 10 games to gain that .5 star back. And if you don't play him at the new position for another few games, he'll drop a .5 at that position as well.

Appreciated PHI
Tho i'm pretty sure this criteria has been covered and I still encounter problems.

I'll keep these guidelines in mind tho, make sure that I use them and see if it helps.

1 game is enough. When an OL hits 5* BPOS, for instance, have him play an additional game as OL and then start training him as DL. Works like a charm. It has been like that since the dawn of time by the way.

Oddly enough, I remember that a long time ago somebody told me that this particular bug only occurs with 4.5* talented players. So a 5* Talent is not going to need the additional game, because he will never lose the 1/2 star. I have not bothered to verify that though, so don't take it for granted.

ATTENTION !!!! ATTENTION !!! ATTENTION !!!

This has been covered many times. Here for example: https://www.grid-iron.org/community/viewt/20397

I know that this is different player, but logic is the same. I had conversation with one manager here in the game regarding BPOS and this is what we told him regarding shifting BPOS (hope that this will explain to you how system works):

"Every player has a rating value for every single position he can play in the game (so kind of BPOS values). And that value can be up to 100.
For example, if he has TE on 90 BPOS value, he will have 4,5 stars shown. If he has it anywhere from 91 to 100, he will have 5 stars shown.
And that player was 5 stars for TE and 4,5 stars for WR after last game (Before that game he was 5 stars WR and 4,5 stars TE).
Why? Because before his last game, his BPOS value for TE was 90 and his WR value was 91. Then when you assigned him to play as TE, his BPOS value went up to 91 and 4,5 stars changed to 5 stars. And as you didn't play him as WR, his BPOS for WR went down to 90 and 5 stars became 4,5. Because each player can only have 1 best position, but can have multiple position shown as 5 stars if they are (for example) 100, 96 and 94 ratings.
Understand? If you want that player to have 5 stars in both skills, then you have to play with him few games as WR so that BPOS will go up for example to 94. And then his BPOS will not drop to 90, but just to 93 for example and he will not loose 0,5 stars on that position."

ppl shoud really browse forums before making new posts. Most of these "new bugs" have been discussed before
on the other hand, there really really should be a search -option

And now it's been covered again

But yeah, you've kind of answered the whole issue with having to trawl through the forums when looking for a certain topic ...... without a "keyword" search option or something similar then the forums are not exactly inviting people to search for previous topics are they ?

And I'm guessing, had you not known this had previously been discussed, that you wouldn't have searched for it either ..... just a guess tho

Spend hours trawling through the forums ? ..... or just post and rely on those who have been here longer to point you in the right direction ?
Be honest ...... what would you choose ?

You can use control F feature, but it's only on a page by page basis, so just about as helpful as skimming through visually. A search feature in the forums would be so easy to implement, they really need to put this in the game
