I suspect this confuses a lot of new managers ....

You click on the "kit" image on your team's page to choose most of your uniform colors (for shirts, pants, socks, shoes),

BUT to change your team's HELMET colors you need to go to "Settings" and choose two colors from the selection at the bottom of that page.

I hope this helps anyone who was looking for that info.
