Well it wasn't that bad but we can safely say the fat lady has sung on this one... Good game project, it was at least an entertaining spectacle lol.

Stopping drives seems to be an issue in Wildcat games. One pick, one punt and one end of half. Everything else ended with a score (mostly of the TD variety)

Regretting not sticking with the original game plan. Oh well....

Another big match from the Roosters as well. Top spot is wide open again

Two end of half pocessions. Both 13 yards from scoring. A bit of luck stopped the game being a bloodbath.

Although my defense was leaky today against a piggys offense getting stronger.

FB Johnson was 9/180/1 from the backfield. Gotta move him up to the line sometime and play TE regularly.

I ummed and ahhed about what offense to use. The receiving FB was an option but due to possibly too low catching (and an inability to re-check orders instead of drinking on my one day off) he was ruled out in the end. Should have stuck with the script, but home field advantage had me second guessing everything. Why do I do this for every return leg vs you?

To think that this was brought about by an injured LB, who was probably good to play.

Still haven't worked out what "final phase of rehabilitation" means. Does it mean he has one day to go? Either way I didn't want to play him unless he was perfect. I really wanted my OLB Mireles at SF. He shines there.

As much as it sucks to relinquish the lead, it must be said that it is great to have so much competition at the top again. Five teams all with a shot at the title.

40/58 for 69% completion rate by Enright. That is huge!

By the way, I have a good chunk of the Brazilian NT offensive weapons on offense so you've had a decent taste of how to counter these guys, and therefore next Friday's WCQ should be interesting.

Enright's passing hasn't been great all season. If not poor compared to the standards the previous two starters evoked. This game was by far his best effort. No other game has come close.

Also my edge rushers haven't been doing what they should all season. Hopefully if they can find their groove, then my defense should be back to normal.

Another Scalp for the Roosters today!!

Finally starting to get some traction in the Top Division. It feels great to move out of the mid pack and starting to have a chance for some silverware.

Shout out to Georg Hertz for 2 picks and Mitch Holland who is getting better and better!

Keep it up Boys!

I'm shaking in anticipation of our return leg, believe me. At the start of the season I didn't know what to make of the Roosters, and after week 2 I wrote you off after a heavily depleted 'Moths absolutely smashed you. Yet to turn it around nine weeks later like you did today is unbelievable. Well done mate. I wasn't sure whether you would be able to compete just yet but how wrong I was.

It is a good feeling when you start taking those big scalps and emerging as a genuine contender, and as you would know, it isn't easy to crack those top spots around here, so you should enjoy the ride, and of course I wish you the best of luck in your push towards the top.

I say this as one of those who will be doing everything within their power to prevent this from happening. But the paragraph above is most certainly sincere, and if I recall correctly, I predicted your eventual rise from the middle ranks some seasons ago. Now, the silverware can't be too far away, and I'll be adding you to the list of teams I am hoping not to meet in the cup.

Clouston ties the rush TD record with 6 games to go, and two bots on the schedule. Can he do it?
