did you sell player? did you try and buy? I see by your transfers you have not bought or sold player. I see you are selling an injury hit player, you can bid and buy back . his history will go to no history weeks. I see you are trying to buy a lot of high wage players. if you win bid - you have a 20k income from home- 1,000 seats- games.. some players will have to be fired. or you find extra cash

I believe you are asking about the x when on the page showing the players you are bidding on or the players you are selling. If this is the case, then all you did was take the name off the list. You did not cancel a bid or cancel a sale.
If it's a player you are trying to buy, he should appear on the list again if you place another bid on him (this can only be done if someone else has outbid your earlier bid). If you remain top bidder and get the player, he will transfer to your team at the next transfer update (1:00) even if he never shows up on your bid list again.
If it's a player you are trying to sell, then the sell will still go through if someone bids on him.
The only way to get rid of a player is to click the 'Fire' button on the bottom right. You will than have to 'confirm' in the pop up box. Once you confirm, you can NOT change your mind. Also, I don't think it's possible to fire a player you have for sale.

NOTE: I'm not even sure if you can x out a player you are selling. I can't remember, I'm just assuming you can and should that be the case, it should work the same as if you are bidding on a player.

player will transfer to your team at 1am on the clock each day.

doesn't matter whether you hit the x on the "players your bidding on" section or not.

the player should be on your team now as it is after 1am.

down the bottom of the screen is a help/faq link. click it and read. lots of useful info there.

as I said-- if you buy a player that has a high wage, fire him after Monday friendly games or keep and pay

I agree with Marshall9 on this point. Those high wage players will bankrupt you quickly. You don't have the financial stability yet to afford those type of players at this time. Your best bet is to fire them now. You could try to sell them, but since you only paid $1000 and $3000 for them, you're not likely to get much out of them, otherwise someone else would likely have outbid you for them yesterday. And trying to sell them will cost you another $5000 ($2500 each) that you'll have to try to make back. The odds of you making any of your money back on these players is highly unlikely. Best to cut your losses now and learn from it.

On the earlier subject, clicking that 'x' on players you've bid on will not cancel the bid either. Some managers think it might or hope it might, but it doesn't. Once you've bid on a player, the only way to not get the player is to hope for someone else to outbid you. Then click the 'x' to take them off your bid list sheet so you aren't tempted to bid again.

For long term success, you should focus on building up your financial base first. Build as many VIP seats as you can in one of the three sections that doesn't already have seats. Then patiently wait to build up more money and do it again. Keep building VIP seats until you can't build anymore, then build Executive seats until you have all of them built. At that point, you should have enough stability to consider other facilities, coaches, and maybe higher waged players. It can take a couple of seasons to get your financial base a solid foundation. Patience is the key.

He could try it, but I would think the likelihood that it would help is slim. There's no real unknown with those players. The players are at least 3.5* or 4* talent based on their BPOS. This info and everything else was visible and they sold for $1000 and $3000. If somebody else had wanted them they would have bid more for them yesterday. It's still possible that someone might still bid more, but I just don't consider it likely at this point since it's only been a day since they were last on the market. He's already had to pay their salary once and forking over another $5000 to try to make some of that back is kind of like putting salt on the wound. Especially if they don't sell or sell for less than $5000 each.
Now if it turns out the players are actually 4.5* or 5* talent. He could put them on the market and advertise and he'd likely make some money. Could possibly even make back what he paid in salaries. Based on the players experience, I'd say they are probably not 4.5*+ talent though.

Just my opinion though.
