Morning -

New player. Read all the user documentation.

Where I know I'm going to struggle is team management and proper talent evaluation. If the more experienced of us on the forums could share some of their methods for keeping track of their roster, from stats through training and proper valuation, I'd appreciate it.

I figure someone's got it down pat. It's just not me (yet)

Thanks,
Al

Sup Pancakes,

You only just joined today so time is on your side for sure. Building up your stadium, one stand at a time, is a good start, and the best seats to go for in the beginning are the VIP ones.

As for the players, well 80% of them will be garbage. Cycle through them and keep an eye out for the stars for talent. Any more than 3.5* is good, and any more than 4.5* is splendid. Young players with that level of talent and good consistency go for potentially millions on the market, which can give your club an early boost if you sell them successfully.

For the rest of them, size up their strength and speed and place them in the best positions where they might do well going forwards. Their positional talent, which starts at a based of about 1.5* will gradually increase as they play more in a certain place. Give them fitness training so their wages don't automatically increase at the season turnover.

Don't spend more than about 5k at once on any player, and don't buy a player with high wages, if any. Just recruit from the youth system every week and keep the good ones, and your team should build up gradually from there.

I tend to go with the skills. IE: highest passing for QB. high Tackle skill for Defense
and sponsors money { matchday} EVERY game
