Argh what a collapse last two games of the season...

Take nothing away from Platypus though - congrats and best of luck in TD!!

Had hoped I could arrest the slide here. Might be time to get rid of some of the more experienced ones. Would be a sad thing to do as so many came up the ranks with me.

Thanks to everyone for a fun season.

Final stats. The stats show my defense has done decently but the offense was simply not up to scratch.

Thanks to all for a tight season!

I will do my best (I guess that means my RB Helge Hansen) to stay up there in TD.

I must admit that I did not see this coming mid-season and actually just played on auto-pilot checking in once in a while, but will need to stay more focused next season to avoid slipping.

Best of luck to all next season and I hope to see one of you in TD in season 30!

Well it's been mission accomplished on all fronts this season.

Relegation was my goal for this season and was why I allowed the Gnomes to promote to TD last season instead of myself. - Achieved .... tho a little too close for comfort

The plan was to check how competitive my team could be on a $500,000 wage bill for a squad of 48 -54 players in home games whilst using away games solely for training youngsters. - Result ? Better than expected .... and may have many in this division questioning their $1 million + wage bills

Lastly I wanted to ensure that I had the finances to finally upgrade my stadium having already achieved cup success and an Iron Bowl appearance on a 13,500 capacity stadium. - Good to go !! (This is the reason for wanting relegation - it should be a little easier to guarantee bigger attendances in div III level than it would be at the bottom of Div II meaning it's more financially sound to relegate when increasing stadium capacity)

Most Importantly tho, It's been fun whilst it lasted This is a good division that has many good teams/managers and is pretty even across the board as shown by the league table. Thanks for the games and I'll see you all in the future

Oh .... and Congrats to VerbalKlint and his Platypus great season bud
