Watched the first quarter at work but tuned out after the second pick by Croatia. Was expecting the usual for the Aus NT, which is to go no further than the group stages no matter how strong the team may be. The final score was a bit of a surprise.

One more game to restore what is now a long standing tradition for this team.

I watched live 4 fantastic games:

Hungary 24 - 21 Australia

Italy 41 - 38 Croatia

Poland 35 - 34 Sweden

New Zealand 59 - 56 Slovakia

5 out of 8. It was not bad...

I am surprised by Croatia elimination. Slovakia not advancing in WC is unexpected too... And UK is 11-0 so far

Congratulations to Hungary for beating the seemingly unbeatable Great Britain squad. Smart coaching.

The other game went into OT. Poland needs to convert this 3rd down or they are probably out.
