I won't back down from a challenge though

Sin é. (That's it).

I feel like the next generation is coming along nicely and I have plenty of cash on hand so a complete rebuild is not needed. I hope to be back up soon enough. I will always remember that brief week I thought I could challenge for the title.

I had hoped that the Strong safety would help a bit more against the run game but more research on that is needed. I may eventually be able to employ it myself.

If nothing else this gives a lesson to everyone, never listen to predictions by Weasel!

Went to a great pub in Cork called Sin é - I can almost remember getting back in the early hours of the morning.

I was relegated in my first season in the TD. It's not the end of the world. I came back up 2 seasons later with all the lessons I had learned and ended up winning the title. Who's to say you won't do the same.
If I don't get a couple of wins I could be joining you. I'm very disappointed about todays loss. I took a chance and started my backup QB who seemed to do well and signed and new OL which helped my offense but stupidly I didn't set my defense properly which backfired. If I had I might have been able to stop the Vikings 1 more time to have a chance of winning. Instead I lost by 3 and I am in desperate need of a win to stay up. It doesn't get any easier for me next week when I play the Weasels

The end of an era as Staten's contract with the club has ended. No point holding onto him, he won't be around for the next trip and he has too much work to do to make an impact this season now.

The core of the offense that got me to the top division from divisions IV. Overall a mixed career as he had so much ability but things didn't always fall for him. He desperately tried to get to the top division. Unfortunately for him it came a season too late for him to really show his stuff. Last season he was near unstoppable and the main reason for the Pros promotion - potentially driven by a need to play in the top division after being sold from the top division years ago.

While he never made it to the AFLC he did lead the USA to the World Cup and started for all but the last game of their 3rd place the following season. However after that he could never force his way back onto the starting line up after the semi final loss.

A true professional amongst Pros.

(btw he is on the free transfer list if anyone wants him)

I do remember Staten from last season and many other seasons in div II with you. Sad that you are relegation since I might be promoting to TD this season. First time two Danish teams are in TD at the same time.

Good luck and hope to see you in either TD or div II again!

For the first time ever a renter has peed me off.

I was happy to offer Staten a home for the remainder of this season and possibly next so stayed up WAY past my bedtime to bid on him.

Only to get sniped a few minutes before the cut-off by a serial renter. Grrrr.

I’ll try again next week, provided I’ve still a chance of avoiding relegation.

A strange scoreline today - won 17-6. There was a time when if you scored 17 points you'd lost by a huge margin but the running game has changed things.
