The money that you make from a friendly game matters whether you are playing at home or away?

I'm new and my stadium of course is very small. So do I play "away" games or do I not receive any money from those games?

Friendlies are split 50/50 regardless of venue.

Ticket prices are 50 % compared to league/cup games

Ticket income is split between both teams for friendlies. Tickets prices are 50% of normal prices.

If you'll aim for a stadium that has between 10-13K seating with is $700-900K income, then you net maximum income.

The reason for this is friendly attendance is much lower than league games so the income is averaged over all three seat types. So a 40K stadium with 10K attendance means you'll fill 25% of all seating types. where a 10K stadium with 10K attendance means you fill 10K of all seat types.

In the end, playing a friendly game is better than playing none at all. Even playing in a 60K stadium will net you $60K.
