I think with a win next week against Netherlands I'll be through to the world cup, I guess Crotia haven't qualified yet as there's a chance they could still go 5-4, but I see that as extremely unlikely.

Here are some news from week 7 games:

Group C:

A real turnaround here as Bulgaria and Slovenia have beaten Russia and Finland, respectively. The italian community loved it as their team heired the 2nd place from the russians. But there is a lot to come from this group yet...

Group E:

More unexpected results here. The brazilian team achieved an easy win over France and took the 1st place from the french. On the other game, the red wine team of Venezuela achieved their first ever victory after a tight game against Argentina. With that result, both teams are eliminated and Brazil, France and Denmark are going to fight bravely for the 2 spots on the WC.

Group F:

Croatia confirmed their qualification with another close win over Bosnia, the most surprising team on this cycle in my opinion. On the other game, the UK get even closer to the WC after beating the dutch team, and it is technically qualified. As we all now, the british team is hard to fight when it comes to WC Finals...

Group G:

Ukrania have not even played on this week but achieved their qualification with the victory of the belgian team over Austria. It is the first time that Ukraine will play the WC and we must praise manager ledilot for that. Earlier today, Australia postponed the serbian party after an OT win. But it is a matter of time to Serbia confirm their qualification.

Group H:

I am really bad with calculations but I am quite sure that it is almost impossible that Poland will not be playing the WC. After a convincing win over Portugal, the polish team is in a comfortable place on the group. We can not say the same for the other teams, as the irish team continues pursue their goal of returning to the WC, as they smashed Norway easily today. It seems like Colombia, Portugal and Ireland will have hard battles on the forthcoming weeks.

So, the picture is this:

Quaified teams: Mexico, Spain, USA, Switzerland, Germany, Slovakia, Croatia and Ukraine;

Almost there: UK, Serbia and Poland;

The other 5 spots? Who knows?!

Finland, Brazil, UK and Poland confirmated their presence on WC today. Italy and France are really close to it. And group H is a complete "mess" now.

2 weeks to go!

I'm going to do my best to put Portugal in the World Cup, but it will not be easy

We have 2 more qualifiers on week 9: France and Serbia!

Italy is keeping things interesting for the last game against Russia, in Group C. On group H, Colombia had a heartbreaking loss and is eliminated. Portugal and Ireland are going to meet on week 10 to decide the second spot of the group.
