Cause i dont smoke, heck dont even drink alcohol anymore.

Cash spending for the 2018 season here:
https://overthecap.com/cash-spending

If you look at the table, the Jaguars have most money spent into the 2018 season, and 49ers are 2nd.

So by your line of thinking most money spent = success and a strong roster ?
I'd bet you also believe every word out of those "experts" about how successful every player just drafted will be.

( I guess that means the Raiders have got the next 10 superbowls sewn up then given that Grudens on $100 million !! I'm happy with that .... not sure how your own logic would make the Browns stronger than them though. Might be something for you to think about )

No, i did not say money equals the most wins. It is only part of the picture. But completely dismissing that? Nah, you should be better than that.
Spending money below market rates on high performing players is another factor. Good coaching is another. Luck with injuries also count. Neither wins championship alone (or game for that matter), but all of those contribute.
Money talks as one says, which means if 49ers spend a lot in 2018, then they at least INTEND to make a strong push. How effectively they spent is remain to be seen, but they push as hard as anyone except maybe the Jags. I dont expect that push to be enough to compete with a complete Rams roster, but could be very well to stay ahead of Seahawks and Cardinals in 2018.

Also, if you want to know what i think, you can just ask. You have no idea apparently, so asking would be the wise option.

And stop telling me what i say. You should not take my words out of context, and project whatever you wanted.

Edit: This is one view how an expert thinks how efficiently that money was spent:

I have no idea ? ..... and yet you are focused on the most irrelevant stat to ever exist which is money spent !!

Do you even understand that within your own comment you have shown how ridiculous your logic is ? You state yourself that you don't expect them to be able to compete with the Rams roster ..... WHO ARE SPENDING LESS !!! So I guess money spent means absolute squat !! I'd also point out that this would mean that it is NOT money well spent no ? (You do know that they all have the same budget to work from right ? So spending the 2nd most is not really a good stat for a roster not expected to compete with the better teams ....and that's by your own admission !!)

The INTENTION to make a push in no way means that they will make a push. You think I have taken your words out of context ? Let's try an earlier quote from your good self ...... "Sure, 49ers roster was incomplete last season, and free agent money is not the most efficient one, still they spent so much money on the 2018 squad, that it will make a serious push."

And the fact that your edit refers to an "experts" view on how that money has been spent, before a single game has been played, has only reinforced my earlier assumption on how much you know (not much at all) so thanks for that

The rams also have 14 less players currently signed. The salary cap is not a good indicator of team performance. Especially this part of the year where team rosters are 30-40 persons higher than they will be.

Yes the 49ers currently have the highest salary. But they have 89 players signed, which is the 9th highest roster number. The Ram are spending $14M less but also have 14 less player signed.

One person also accounts for 74% the 49ers increase in total cap. Although I'm pretty sure that one person got them 5 wins last season.

I'm pretty sure they cannot surpass the Rams, but with all the faults Seattle and Phoenix now have, they might get the jump on them. Although I think the Cards will surprise this season with a healthy roster.

Cardinals and Seahawks will both be ahead of the 49ers when the season concludes. Laughable that money will change poor management. They do have some decent players, just not going to step out of the basement just yet
