Rules and Regulations

Summary
• Leagues: 1 (Major)
• Divisions: 4
• Teams: 14 in each division (56 Max)
• Regular Season Length: 13 Games
• Tournament Length: 4 Games
• Team Removed After Forfeiting 5 Games (Resets every season)
• Total Season Length: 18 Games (Includes bye week at end of season)

(I cannot guarantee these times, but these are what I will be shooting for)

Regular Season
Teams of each division all play each other once; with standings based on wins, then losses (for teams joining late) and then point difference. This will last 13 weeks, and starts the first week of the league.

Tournament
The end season tournament consists of two brackets; a single elimination winner’s bracket, and a consolation bracket. The top 4 teams from each division will populate the winner’s bracket of the tournament. The undefeated team of the winner’s bracket is the league champion. The consolation bracket matches up similarly ranked teams for the remainder of the season. Teams will be ranked on their final positions at the end of the season. The tournament starts immediately after the last game of the regular season. Unfortunately, there are no prizes other than bragging rights for the league champion.

You Are Required to Play Scheduled Matches
You are to send/accept your scheduled opponents challenge every week by Friday 23:59 server time. If the scheduled match is played and there is no notification, the match will be scored normally. If the scheduled match is not played and there is no prior notification, both teams will receive a loss. When you forfeit 5 games, you will be removed from the CUP. Also, during the tournament, the higher ranked team will receive a win if no match is played an there is no challenge posted.

How to Find Your Opponent
The League Schedule for each week will be posted in this forum, which will include links to each team that will take you to their team page. Also, there will be a list of all active teams with links to each team in another section of this forum.
Note: (All links for **bye** teams, ignore them as they are not for an active team but the setup runs more smoothly this way.)

How to Post of a Challenge Sent
You are required to create a post and address the team you challenged and in what division. Simply use the reply button in this forum, and hit send when you have completed your message. If the match is not played, you will forfeit the match. If you did create a post of your challenge and the match is not started, you will receive a win without forfeiting the match. Sent PM’s to me of your challenges are also accepted. (You do not have to have your post the exact same as the examples, any variant of notification is accepted.) If both teams post of a challenge, and no match is played, then the team who posted first will get the win.

Example for Regular Season: “Challenge sent to OS1 Orbiting Death, Blue Division”.
Example for Tournament: “Challenge sent to SPQR Moles”

Also as an added note, bye weeks are automatic 28-0 wins.
