Hmmm, thinking I might totally rebuild given that news. With bmi now being a factor and uncertainty over passing/run efficiency, think it might be the best time to do it.

I'm pretty sure I remember reading the details on what how the BMI stat affected strength and speed at some point (ie BMI < x means max strength is y etc), but I can't seem to find it again. Does anyone know where that is?

As big as these changes are, particularly the BMI one, this update should be fully implemented for Season 26 not Season 25.

Implement the game engine changes for friendlies in Season 25 to see how they work, then for regular season and cups in Season 26.

Did I read what I think I read? Are you guys also seeing this, or am I hallucinating?

I'm fine with the implementation. I have known for a long time the risk of playing a 300LB CB or a 185LB OL. I'll have some adjusting but I'll work through it. I'm sure in the short term many of us will be playing guys in the position they have been trained at but don't physically fit that.

I wonder if the transfer market is going to heat up for say that OL or DL that is 6-8 and 350 LB?

By the way, does anyone know how much you can set a player to gain or lose before you lose training? Is it better to just adjust the weight the maximum each week and not worry about anything else?

In the announcement, they are talking about the BMI, not the height and the weight. I'm not sure if they play a part.

As an example:

A 25 BMI RB can be 1.80 (5-11), but also 2.10 (6-7).

Set the training to +/- 5 or less and you will be fine
