Quite the interesting first round. John Lynch is off to an incredible start as 49ers GM.

Bears bombed. Gave a ton to move up one spot for a guy who I believe still would have been there had they stayed put.

Brown killed it on day 1. Sure they still have QB issues but they added 3 great players and accumulated more picks. They have had an incredible off season. Gained an extra round 2 pick next year by taking Osweiler off the Taxans hands because they had cap space. They are taking a big step toward turning that long suffering franchise around.

I'm not sold on Peppers. What position is he going to play?

I'm guessing he plays mainly safety/linebacker but the guys is just pure talent. He can play in all 3 phases of the game. You just put him on the field and allow him to make plays. I could see him used in a LB role similar to Deone Buchanon, punt/kick returner and gimmicky guy on offense. Even if the urnaround takes a couple seasons they have armded themselves with enough picks to go after Garoppolo or Cousins or go get a rookie QB next year in what is supposed to be a great QB class. We are talking the Browns so they might screw things up but I think they easily had the best first day in the draft.

Don't like the Packers draft at all. I still feel like they left some secondary holes unfilled.

The Bills...

Surely they may as well start offering temp contracts for a gm. It would be more honest

Very funny draft rankings by these NFL experts, always saying the Patriots had à very good draft "because they traded for Cooks, Allen & Ealy" so they are saying this was à good draft because they didn't draft à lot.

As for the Pats picks, they are saying they are good picks just because they are Belichick picks lol

But the best is here : all teams but one (Bears) got A or B grades for their draft. I guess you just have to randomly pick player without trading away too much 1st or 2nd round picks to be à genius GM nowadays

I'm a Packer fan and always feel a little disappointed after the draft. I'm really OK with what they did. They needed to focus on defensive help early and they did. They had a lot of holes to fill and worked more on need with their picks. They added 2 DB early and while that whole group was a train wreck last year I don't think you can turn the entire group over either so between the FA signing and 2 picks I think that helps. The DT in round 3 was also a solid pick to help plug the middle on the DL which was needed after Raji retired. Mostly a need based draft but that should all help a playoff caliber team. Now I hope they sign Blount to be a pounder at RB.
