Well done to the Pigs today - another step toward an undefeated season!

I would normally put it down to Yates having a stam 20 game as he did - funny thing is, he appeared to have one of those vs me last time out yet still put up 55 pts!

On top of the stam 20, one of his LBs picked up an injury on Friday and was playing at less than 100%. I was surprised to see him out there - 3 days is a quick recovery! The big fella Ledoux certainly took advantage of the situation. He was rampaging by the 4th quarter... pretty much everything went my way for this one, and it all but officially ended the title race in the process.

Thankfully, the gods aren't smiling on me.

I buy Solomon about 6 months ago for $240k, sold him the other day for $135k and he's now on the market with the latest bid @ $700k!

Just as a bit of a follow up on this for a laugh, the Eindhoven Dolphins ended up paying $1,039,464 for him and then cut him - must have thought he was uncapped and never realised his resale worth as a QB! Some people really aren't too good at this, are they?

Very unlucky in the AFLC - I thought you were a certainty after the Behemoths (with their back-up QB in) shut out almost the exact same Zion Malacca lineup on Monday (only the TE was different) - that was just a crazy turnaround in form

You have a bot in the last round, so all is not lost..

Yeah, that TE had a huge impact, but his entire squad just played great. And we just weren't on at all.

Lot of average rolls on offense - no 5* finishers anywhere and Lawton finished 4* and he gave up a lot of pressures and a sack. Just one of those GI days!

Check out how close Lontras went to winning too! Guanacos might win - they can beat anyone on their day. Or they might play a friendly lineup like the Warpigs did vs the Hogs - that has screwed me royally!

So much of this has been timing - when Guanacos played Malacca in round 1, Malacca had a HB finishing 2* and a LB and CB finishing 3.5* and no Ace TE - the Zion Malacca I played is massively different. And why couldn't I play the Warsaw Warpigs when they'd been beaten twice and play a bot vs me? Unreal!

Speaking of oh-so-close dreams, the Convicts are the last team standing between me and an 18-0 season.

You playin' backups week 17 Hosh?

Don't write Guanacos off - they are more than capable of salvaging your AFLC campaign.

Nah, you'll be working for it!

Good win today btw - never realised any interesting games were on!

You know, even if Guanacos won, and I made the IB and won, I'd still forever remember that campaign as the one where I got beat by Zion!

Anyway, I hope that 48hrs have been me getting rid of all my bad luck for the rest of this season for the sake of the WC - I still cannot believe how poorly the Aus O played on Friday!

Sheesh, I'd hate to be one of your players if you did win

Well, maybe if they did that, I'd change my tune. Hope I get to find out but Guanacos aren't what they once were and the 'hogs are at their peak!

The Hedgehogs have my old OLB Gluck! He screwed his teammates out of an AFLC spot in last season's cup, then joins a contender with a shot at Iron Bowl glory. The bastard!

Then again, I just looked up that game, and he missed only the one tackle and had a 5* game from start to finish, so perhaps I was a little hasty in placing the blame for our team failures entirely on his shoulders...

Still though.... BOO GLUCK
