Sorry mate, I only just spotted this reply.

Just from looking at your roster, I would gradually do the following:

- Talent: Trade out any of your players who have less than 3.5* talent.

- Age: Trade out any of your players over 22 who do not have at least 2 skills at 10.

- Physicals: If any have low speed/strength caps, gradually replace them too. If any of these have high consistency, they could be kicker material. High intel and consistency and they are potential QBs.

- Replacements: When you hit the transfer market, you want to look at the following indicators. Their age, their weekly wage, their teamwork, consistency, speed and strength, their highest skills in relation to their age, whether they are trained evenly (good) or overtrained in one skill (not so good), their energy levels (if you want them to start immediately)... there are many things to look for in a player. Avoid the ones with 20 stamina, as they apparently cause problems. Set yourself a bid limit as you will get into bid wars for the good players. Don't send yourself broke trying to obtain them and don't rush to replace everyone at once! Eventually you will know what you want in a player. Everyone is different.

- Dual-training: If you have someone who you think would go well playing both TE and DL, for example: first play them at DL until they are maxed out in BPOS, then do the same for TE. A player will only receive BPOS gains for the first position recognised by the match engine. A guy playing OL-DL-G only receives gains at OL.

The following assumes you haven't done this yet and only applies if you haven't:
- Coaches: When you can afford it, buy level 20 coaches for all except kicking. BUY THEM ALL IN ONE GO. You can decide how high to go with kicking coaches but anything over 10 is overkill and a waste of money.

- Facilities: Upgrade them all to the max when finances allow, especially the training and fitness centres. Upgrade the youth academy last (it's not as important as the others)

- Stadium: The next time you have 15 days without a home game, finish off all of your VIP/executive seats, and if you have done this already, add 20,000 regular seats instead. The best time to build is between 00:30 and 04:00 GI time on a Wednesday (though be mindful of Regional Cup games) as it would save you three weeks worth of maintenance costs.

If I can think of anything else I'll add it later. If anyone else wants to add their two cents/correct me then be my guest!

Looks like this is going well. Pretty dominant display today.

Yeah, and both WRs and Pratt are yet to peak. By the time Pratt becomes a 5* BPOS TE (which will hopefully happen this WC if we get deep enough), Simpson will be the weakest link on the Aus O!

I'm not sure, to be honest. I'd make sure you have a couple of million in the bank at least. $5m-$10m seems like a decent amount to start with. You haven't gone crazy on the market so you probably have an amount similar to this in the bank already. If you have this or more you will be fine.

Your wages are low at the moment so you should be making money even if you are running 7th and not filling your stadium.

Thankfully, the gods aren't smiling on me.

I buy Solomon about 6 months ago for $240k, sold him the other day for $135k and he's now on the market with the latest bid @ $700k!

A few words for the locals -

1/ I'll be upgrading my nutrition centre (from that page) after the Wednesday financial update

2/ note that weight updates occur on Thursdays (not sure what time) - they do not happen at the same time as training, unless that's changed.

Looking forward to this new era of GI - hopefully now that someone's actually explored the engine a little, we might see further updates down the track.

Quite welcome news. Means I won't have to sack those 31yo 20/20 guys mid-season

I've had the nutrition centre all along but lost track of all the heights and weights a long time ago. Got a few fatties on board that will be fasting for the next few months

As for when it happens? Have never been able to pinpoint the exact time but it occurs somewhere around 06:00 GI time.

Hopefully these aren't false promises - they were on teamHB promising upgrades for 2016 and again they failed to deliver.

Another thing to note is that it could spell the end of the stats as they are. Depends on what they do to the matches.

Well done to the Pigs today - another step toward an undefeated season!

I would normally put it down to Yates having a stam 20 game as he did - funny thing is, he appeared to have one of those vs me last time out yet still put up 55 pts!
