Div II.2

Where to begin? Submariners botted, Berkshire is close to following suit, LA Kings need offensive development, Inbred are playing like they were planning on taking a dive this season, and Alkoholiks accidentally promoted last season prematurely.

Omaha Mavericks handled Mississauga fairly easily last week, Atlantis Cowboys got upset by Alkoholiks despite 3 interceptions.

So who is left to stop Omaha Mavericks from steamrolling right to the top division?

Maybe Atlantis. I suspect this to be a rebuild year after relegating from top division, and they have several roster spots with little experience. Should be a team that plays tougher towards the end of the season but likely to get some early losses.

Maybe Cannibulimics, but probably not. They have an expensive roster; however they lack serious threats at DL, and their quarterback is hoping minimum wage goes up soon. I suspect they will trim some talent after the Cup run, and unless they rent a better QB, one that can put up more than 14 against the Inbred's B squad, they won't have much of a chance. If the Inbred could kick field goals they would've won that game.

Mississauga? The beat Omaha once back in season 22, but the Mavericks seem to have their number since.

I play the Alkoholiks this week, and will have a better idea if they are dangerous. I suspect they need one more season to be a contender.

Inbred and LA Kings will have to sort out who relegates between the 2, and that leaves...

ME... 3rd Time Felons. I play them week 7, and have a decent chance of still being at the top when that happens. Unfortunately, my accountant says that we need to have a meeting when my cup run is over, (what could that mean?) and I doubt I will be in any condition to challenge Omaha when we rematch.

Nice write up and good opinions. I agree that I can't beat Omaha, and unless they get an injury at the wrong time to the wrong player, I can see running away with this.
