Kind of what I was thinking. The young guys are playing out of their minds. No more jitters, now it's just a good old fashioned whooping, unless the Pats have a miracle up their sleeves

If you're curious, that's what a miracle looks like

Turning water into real ale sounds much better to me. I'd like to thank Badgers and St Austell breweries (amongst many others) for doing just that.

The Falcons should have thrown to Julio Jones on every down. Brady is the ultimate warrior, nothing will change my thoughts on him. Classic tale of two games. Young upstart and talented team shock the veterans for 3 quarters. Crunch time was all about veterans not giving up. By the time they were in extra time, there was nothing that could stop that kind of momentum. It was game over as soon as the Patriots won the toss. Toss up for the catch of the game between Jones (sideline ridiculous catch over arguably perfect blanket coverage and gets the second foot down easily) and Edelman saving a catch 3 times off opponents leg, then opponents hands, then bobbled and saved off the ground by his hands...........in about 3/10 of a second). Very thankful they have slow-mo replay so that the average fan could see how ridiculously easy that impossible catch looked

Falcons found more painful way to loose than Seahawks 2 years ago, and they can only blame themselves.
2nd & 11, 23 yards from the finish line, 8 points leadership and the clock for 3 minutes left. Stupid decision choose to throw the ball and Ryan was sacked.
It should have been 2 nice and easy running games and then kick a field goal. Point difference would be 11 and this way they would win this match.

Just shows that Shanahan is perfect for 49ers

Yeah totally agree with that statement

And the loss 2 years ago was similarly stupid. The Seahawks had the best running back in the game Marshawn Lynch "Aka Beast mode". The Seahawks had alot of time left and chose to pass into the centre of the field on a poor thrown pass when running would have resulted in a better and safer outcome

I know Us Football has alot of schemes and can at times be complicated, but for top quality coaches in the most important game of the year, With a Head Coach, Offensive Coach and all the offensive assistants and the GM watching should OBVIOUS POOR play calling like this happen?

And i hope this settles the best Quarterback currently to have ever played the game. Joe Montana was great for sure. Tom Brady then Joe Montana definately the best ever 1 - 2 Qbs

BUT when Tom Brady is playing his teams change constantly and have to work within a salary cap, making all of the team within that amount, also making the players change season to season and not have continuity

When the San Fransisco 49ers played they had the money to just buy anyone and everyone who was at the top of the game and add them to the squad. Drafting Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, John Taylor and then adding any top players they wanted made life way easier for Joe Montana then it did for Tom Brady

Taking nothing away from Both QB's they are like i said the best 1 / 2 combo ever to play so far, then everyone else is fighting for the claim to be 3rd best

And next season the Atlanta Falcons won't be in the Superbowl, they may make the playoffs but that will be as far as they head next season

That maybe looks easy. But with maybe two runs with negative yards it would be a 42-45 FG attempt. Or maybe it would be holding call who knows and they would have to punt anyway.

Maybe Bryant would miss FG. It would be a lot of pressure on him. Ryan had a tremendous game and they decide to go with pass game which worked for them all night long.

It is very easy for us to be offensive coaches right now, and all of us would do that or that.

They decided to go for pass and they failed. And NE had 91 yards drive for 28-28.

And a miracle at the end.

One more for perfect Ryan:

Passing Statistics SB LI

Completions-Attempts: 17-23
Yards: 284
Touchdowns: 2
Rating: 144.1
Yards/Completion: 12.3

That is why they trust their QB. But sack happened, then holding happened and that is it.

Falcons said they wanted just to go little closer to goal line and with that statistic it is logical to pass. Run probably wouldn't give them extra yards, so it would be over 40 yards FG. With pressure on kicker who know what would happen (just to mention Gostkowski missed extra point earlier in the game and how experienced is he in these kind of games).

So I wouldn't blame OC and HC for pass decision.
