UK settles for a huge 43 yard field goal and cuts the deficit to just 4 pts. Meanwhile, USA is finding no room to operate and Germany is running away with a 21 pt lead

He just turned 32 yesterday. His Stamina is actually still pretty good. As is his agility. He's a german GI legend and he won an Iron Bowl (IIRC), so he has the skills to do it.

Meanwhile, Freytag continues to slice through the USA defense as though they were standing still, total dominance by the Germans

Correction, 28 pt lead and the trip to the finals are firmly in the hands of the Germans. Close game in the other stadium, Netherlands with the ball, down by 3..do they have any gas left?

Crank is done, the fans are chanting for him to be replaced! Flames has thrown his clipboard onto the field and apparently hit the sideline judge. Germans were definitely ready for this match

It's silly to interpret too much humanity into a game like GI, but Freytag really is a big time spotlight player. We had to beat Ireland in the qualification to even make it to the World Cup. And he had his best game this year. Now this performance, against a really good team in the semifinal of the World Cup.
