Need 2 more teams to round out the CUP VII season. Reserves are welcome for the minor leagues.

Is it really necessary that every team plays each other twice (home & away)?
It takes a long time. And than also play offs for just one class.

After one match against each other team, there will be the best team. It's clear after some games which team is the best in every class.

Is it really necessary? Whats your opinion?

It is a thought that has come to my mind. It is how we have always done it. Of course at the beginning there were only 4 teams per division and now there is 10. The majority like playing more games as it was put up to a vote a couple cups ago. But after this season i will put it up to a vote again on if we should just play every team once or continue with the way we have been doing it.

I will take any opinions and everything will be put to a vote to make THE CUP series as good as possible.

The way we have done it no one has gone undefeated since THE CUP III. It gives someone a chance to have a bad first half of the season and improve there team and still make the playoffs.

Opinion

1. The way it's presently set up allows for folks to know where and when their friendlies will be even through season transition. That's valuable.

2. If players are actively playing week to week and improving their teams, there's a big difference between beginning of the league and end.

Ex. Last cup I went from having no exec seating, not having full coaches and doctors, and having a div 4 lineup to having all vip and exec seating, full coaches and doctors and a proper, though growing D3 lineup.

3. Last, if you're going to have friendlies anyway, what difference does it make how long the CUP lasts? Sounds like a snarky question, but really it's just me wondering what difference it makes to be faster.

Thanks,
Hit

Thanks for your opinion. It was just my suggestion.

I understand your point of position. A Cup with home and away game is not a problem, if the teams work of a kind you describe. If they work so...

But it bothers me, when some teams do really nothing for there skills. When you can say, at the beginning of the cup, how do I play against every team. And you know the result. And then with home AND away match... It can be really more interesting.

That's the reason, why I vote for just one game in a season. So you came faster forward and play against teams, there are in your skill range.

That's my opinion
