Bad simulated rolls can get anybody. A couple of season ago, megatronisabeast had a great team and couldn't win in top division. We had traded information about our players and tactics back and forth to give us a better understanding of the game and hopefully improve our teams. My player's skills were only a point or two higher than his that season. He finished last in top division, I finished 2nd in top division and won the Iron Bowl. And I'm serious in that there was not that much difference in our teams.

Week 4: 14-point win against Hakers with two trainees in my receiving corps
Week 5: 36-point loss against Atlantis with only my top 2 receivers on the field

TD is weird.

That was a great example of a team that struggled. I think Kaz had a great team for a few seasons and really didn't do as well as expected either. Arguably the best QB, WR and TE combination in TD (the Adriana brothers if I remember correctly and the NT QB at the time for USA). Probably just a bad string of luck

Upsets happen virtually every week in the NFL or college football and sometimes by big margins. Just yesterday TCU destroyed Baylor and nobody saw that coming. It's the beauty of the football and thank goodness, this game does simulate that chance on any week

How is my team complete ass

Welcome to the TD

I am not exactly new to td. But having 20s or 19s on every position on offense and still sucking is ridiculous.

Your OGs are terrible, since they are included in the calculation to determine pressure or not, that can't be helping you. Also, many of your starters are at 4* end of game rating, indicating you have some stamina issues. Of course, TD is not easy and you may just be having a really unlucky streak. Wouldn't be the first time a good team has struggled up here

Stamina is definitely not my issue, every starter is over 16. I don't really think ogs are that important either. When I lose in cup matches I'll have quite the firesale and you'll be thinking what I'm thinking now.. How the fuck does this team play so bad?

From the FAQ>

2. Each play consists of 2 parts - team effort and the action itself. Based on what type of play Quarteback will dictate, the different areas on the football pitch are tested and compared. For example, if Quarteback decides on the passing game, the first calculations decide how well he is protected by his linemen against the opponent's linemen and linebackers. If the engine sees the quarteback protected, the passing play is initiated and the receiver and his covers come into play. If he is not protected though, and if the opponent's player is trying to get to him, the quarteback stats and the "blitzer" stats are used to calculate how this will proceed. The quarteback can either get sacked, forced to make incomplete pass, or he can still throw a usable pass or decides to try and evade the blitzer and to progress with the ball on his own. Similar with the running play, just that different players and set of stats are used (of course).

It says linemen, plural, not lineman or just OT, therefore I believe that it's the entire OL being compared prior to proceeding to the next step. Of course there are other opinions of this matter, but this is my belief. Also, you may just be in a bad run of luck

I don't think u understand how close to bankrupt I actually am, expensive guards are not an option for me,

I have no idea where your finances are. I see you have a decent payroll to contend with, you're having a rough season so far (7th place), so I'm sure ticket sales are not great, but you also have no players for sale. Can't be that bad, but I'm sure it's not great either. I will know it's bad when you start selling all your aging starters and reset things. In the meantime, I was just sharing one possibility for your struggles, though the consensus seems to be you're just having a bad string of luck. Easy to happen with all the good teams up in TD. If I knew all of your player builds, I might have other opinions, but from a scan of your roster the guards kind of stand out as a liability. I think this creates more pressures on you and also more incomplete passes as a result of the added pressure. I think you can get away more with low income DTs or NTs than you can with the OG or OC. 13 skill min for OGs and OCs is my thought and I like 16-18 for OTs in TD

I really don't understand the expensive K flames if you are tight on finances. I guess maybe you find them more valuable than most?

Wow! That's a great point, don't see the need for that. I've never had a kicker over 12 and that's in their last season when I bump them up. Generally, my kickers are 10 and only bump to 11 or even 12 when I run out of things to train and don't want stamina to pop to 20. Could save a million over the rest of the season if he axed him now

I'll be happy to share via pm but open scout reports for all doesn't sound smart
