Valhalla QB Dewey Teran answers right back... we may have a shootout on our hands!
35-21 Bad Company midway thru the 3rd.

Benson with another TD for Bad Company to push the lead back up to 21... 42-21

Huge stop by the BadCo defense. Benson is driving his team down field again. If the Company goes up by 28 with 8 minutes to go, it could be bad news for the Vikings!

Vikings get the stop but they only have 5 minutes to make up a 21 point deficit!

HUGE interception by outside linebacker Willie Gillard!! That should just about close the door on the Vikings comeback hopes!

And Bad Company pulls off the HUGE upset in what is by far their biggest win since the rebuilding process began several seasons ago!

Good game Valhalla, I'm sure you'll get your revenge when when meet again in week 10.

With a proper lineup this week, my squad took a step forward, but it's pretty clear that wages remain low for TD. The offense is sputtering, and it's hard to win when your QB completes less than 40% of his passes.

Congrats, Reaus! Thought it would be closer. The 2 INTs didn't help. I'll begin plotting my revenge which right now means telling my team "Play better, you idiots!"

Thinking about how the real Vikings have overcome serious injuries, losing Bridgewater, Peterson, Kalil, and others and still gone 5-0 in the NFL. Meanwhile, my Valhalla version continues to be susceptible to injuries because my rebuild was so fast I never had time to build much depth. Great starters mostly now, but not many starting caliber backups at key positions, and my payroll is ballooning as it is. Don't want to sound like I'm whining, but after all this time on GI I still wonder how some of the top teams consistently carry 1.5 to 2 million dollar payrolls. It's a real credit to teams like the Gators and Hakers (tm) that they're able to keep pulling it off season after season.

I've been very lucky in two regards. My team was able to be successful the first season in TD, so attendance has always been good for my team. Secondly, I've been very lucky in the Cup runs over the last 8-9 seasons or so with 6 titles and a runner up, not only help with the extra cup money, but provide tickets to the AFLC. I would have demoted long ago if not for those things working out. Not sure it it's helpful, but my recipe was to have back ups ready to transition within the first few seasons of TD (my starters were already TD ready) and it seemed to work out. By season 14 or so, I had already transitioned to most of those new players, so I was kind of set up for the next 5-6 seasons. I'm probably one of the least wealthy TD teams to have been up here awhile, having been as low as about 4 million and as high as about 17 million. Haker probably has some different insight, as he has a pretty big bank account. Just have 11 guys evenly trained for both sides of the ball ready to go when you arrive and you should be in the battle, have back ups within a season or 2 ready to take over at TD level, then hope a bit of luck falls your way in the early seasons of your arrival

Welcome parties have been turning out every Saturday for the new clubs in Season 23! Couple of weeks into the new season in NA TD and always reminds me of my first season in TD, so hang in there. My first season opened against Hakers team and I'm quite certain several of my players quit after the 70-28 thrashing. As if that wasn't bad enough, my second match was against Blitz and I got smashed again 63-35. A big 0-2 start. Somehow I won the next 8 games and turned it around, so keep working at it and of course, welcome to the TD

After a huge win last week, Bad Company was looking to build on that and move to 2-1 this weekend. Imagine our surprise when our QB comes in this evening with a huge gash on his throwing hand. He tells us he was playing with his model railroad and the engine accidentally ran over his hand.

Of all the luck...
