I live in the Dallas area, but we just bought a house down there.
My wife grew up in Windcrest and has decided she wants to move back down there.

I advise that you move there with her, if she'll still have you with all the time you spend on the weekly rankings.

Lol do I need to include a thank you?

Like most married couples, "she wants" is understood to mean "we want" LOL

Seriously.. I've spent 16 years listening to her tell me what a crap-hole it is and how glad she is to have gotten out of there... then suddenly, she's homesick and wants nothing more than to return to her hometown.

Silly question but it bears asking.

How do well-established teams like Visigoth and Hamtrack get on the list several weeks in when they were clearly better teams than a lot of D3 from the outset?

Thanks,
Hit

It has to do with wins over human teams. Hamtramck only has one win over a human team, so it's taken a while for him to crack the top 20 at 7-0.

Visigoth is only 3-4, and isn't in the top 20. However, he had a big win over a high division opponent in the Region Cup, so the bonus points helped him move up to the point where he's the first team out at 23rd.

Got it.

So I can advise that Ham just lost to the Hitmen at the Landfill. Good game though, look forward to seeing if I can do it at his house.

Hamtram also had a big win over a big HvH win over a D.3 team last week in the Region Cup, that combined with his first HvH win in league play is why he debuted so high. He picked up a ton of points last week. With the loss today, he'll probably drop a bit and your team will rise a bit.

Thanks Reaus -

You had explained the way rankings were done when I had asked last season. It just seemed that from off charts to 8th ranked team was interesting to ask about.

Personally, I don't care much about rankings for rank sake, but I do like to know how my team is doing in terms of growth. Since your rankings are the only things we have to relate to, I'm expressing a level of interest.

I also like beating people who like to talk a lot of junk, so I've been waiting for the Alks match for a few weeks now

Peace
