Any chance of having the option to ignore posters in the forums?

Something that would just block all of their posts from being visible to me?

They have this implemented on my football teams' message board...I think it could work here too.

I have seen this board on some message boards. Gatr, I think you as a mod probably couldn't take advantage of this slick feature and would need to see all the useless dribble to make sure it followed message board rules.
