One useful way of searching (it still takes time though) is look at the regions first round regional cup fixtures which can save a bit of time.

I asked about a team last night, got a firm "Sorry, but no." So that's me not managing the national team for another year.

To be honest, I think you need to have got to the top two tiers of this in order to manage the team.

I asked them a week ago whilst the voting was still going on whether there were any teams I could manage and only got a response yesterday saying there were no teams left. Utter BS as I know for a fact I asked before others. Not the end of the world though, guess I'll just have Fridays off for a bit.

Maybe they give priority to managers in countries with no national team as there is never any chance of them doing it otherwise.....

It's a valid assumption but I know for a fact at least 1 manager applied after Paulo from the UK and he got a team to manage... This guy!

I like that you think the admins of this game put any thought into this kind of thing, but it's literally first come first served (or it's meant to be).

It's actually relatively good going for the NTs this cycle as I think only 3 countries aren't managed by a manager from the actual country . Of those 3 I know I asked the admins before at least 2 of them, with only you getting NZ being the one I may or may not have asked before as I don't know when you contacted them.

Like I said before though, not the end of the world, I've managed NTs before and will do again, will just have some Fridays off.

I asked as well, but also got a response saying no teams available. It's the first time I asked to coach another team if one was available, so I'm guessing there were already volunteers. Honestly I wasn't sure how it worked, so I just sent in a message offering to volunteer if there was nobody. I don't mind, was just trying to make sure all teams were covered

I think there should be a way to notify mangers that a team needs a manager, due to nobody signing up and then allow managers to apply for the position and then open it up to voting by everyone. Might make it more transparent and fair to all
