Good luck to us in WC15 - we'll need it.

Food for thought -

I'll be putting my hand up again for NT coach. Here's what you need to know about me before you vote 1 way or the other.

I'll be insisting on guarantees from all local coaches with players eligible for NT selection that they will not, under any circumstances, train any of their players to stamina 20.

Any managers failing to notify of such here in this thread will see none of their 30yo players on the team, or none at all in the case they might somehow think it wise to train players to stam 20 even before 30yo.

For those new to this issue, if a player is trained to stam 20 then on average, every 3rd game they will play very poorly and you will generally lose, especially at this level. I see no need to waste my time in future if many coaches remain oblivious to this, or who are deliberately sabotaging our campaign, whatever the case may be.

cheers

You have my vote.

And i did not know you could train stamina to 20, so thanks for the heads up.

You can train anything to 20, apart from capped speed or strength.

But if you train a player's stamina to 20 there is a bug that makes them play very poorly about every 3rd game.

Unfortunately there are managers that disagree with this and/or simply don't care what effect they have on the NT for whatever reason, thus my post.

Hi Supercoach,

Here is some food for thought. You wont be getting my vote as a local coach.

It is a shame you have continued down this path of blame. I thought maybe when you lost that second game in the final 4x4 group stage that you were just angry and lashing out. But clearly you want to continue with it. So lets play.

I can see that you are just riding the backs of other managers hard work from before you. It is not like you yourself as a manager help the NT roster by actually supplying many NT starters. Anyone can qualify with this roster created mainly before them. When the real action occurs, we see you struggle and you are attempting to find a scapegoat to hide your shortcomings as a NT coach.

You have failed twice in the group 4x4 stagess in spectacular fashion. You have on both attempts tried to find blame on the players and the coaches that train them. By your own words, 1 in 3 games they have an issue. So why are you 1-5 and not 4-2 at the final 4x4 group stages? Maybe if you didn't mess with your tactics and formations like in this USA loss, Game-Link then you'd have more wins. WC13 4x4 group stage was similar fashion of tactics and formation changes and stuff-ups. Lets not forget this Denmark loss, Game-Link where you botted the offense by not checking for available players.

So in saying that, if you do get another run, then all these players as a local coach I can guarrantee for you 100% (as per your awesome request) will be stamina 20:-

Kai Carlile
Bailey Burgoyne
Aisake Holland
Edward Shirley
Jared Grose
Mathew Mourish
William Reid
Justin Bird
Callum Kiel

And if you do choose to place any of them (or other Wildcats players) in the NT squad, then they will be over trained and have energy issues as well making them useless to put on the roster. So don't waste your time (which you have stated you don't wanna do) and don't put them on the NT squad.

Good luck with WC15 and the 2nd teamers you will be playing on the field. You'll need it.

Regards,
Accused scapegoat.

At the same time in the last 2 campaigns, just after the preliminary stages, you have trained multiple players to stam 20, forcing me to make lineup changes or risk massive losses like these -

Div 4 team beats Div 1 team
Another super Div 1 team giving up 105pts

For those new, you can tell a player is stam 20 by looking at the pre and post match ratings on the "Stats" page. Any player that drops a full star and is over 25yo is very probably trained to stam 20 (could be just very low stamina but unlikely at that age) - you can see what happens from the above 2 games when this hits!

I have seen you admit that you're aware of the stam 20 issue.

So you admit that you have sabotaged us the last 2 seasons and will again this year?

Care to explain why?

If you're so insanely jealous of someone using "your" players then why not put your hand up to do it yourself? You must be completely nuts!

Insanely jealous of what? How have you surpassed other managers?

You win 1x regional cup, and now you're supercoach and everyone is trying to take you down? I don't think so.

Well I kicked your arse twice last season so what does that make you?

The loss to the Yanks was regrettable but the French shut them down with the same D in the previous game. And the yanks lit us up the previous time we played them with a more conventional D. As for that bot game, the campaign was over anyway, courtesy of yourself and great opponents.

We had a shot this season - you ruined it! I gambled putting your QB in and he finally had a stam 20 moment vs the French. Bandy is over the hill and McMahon needs more vision so I went with McDougall. I, nor any NT coach, should have been in the position to have to make these decisions either this season just passed or the previous.

It made me fourth in the standings from memory.

But I don't think league performances have anything to do with World Cup performances. This may be your issue. You concentrate on the wrong things. Don't look at league games to see how you can win in WC games.

You're the one whinging about your massive contribution to the Aus team. You've been around a long time and are more trained up than most of us - woopy doo!

You trained our NT QB to stam 20 and then sold him on the TM for...............drum roll.................$6k!

How should I react to that?

Even when you keep the players to help their physicals stay up a little longer is a crock of shit anyway. You risk a stam 20 game early in the season for a minuscule gain later on! And screw the NT in the process!

Next thing you know you'll be out on the forums acting like you really care about the NT!
