Probably not. A quick look at their roster shows a very inexpensive team salary-wise and most (if not all) of the players they are bidding on are young, so low wages as well. They may waste most of their reserves buying up players that could be useless, but maybe they'll find some good players in there as well. Looks like it could be a very large (and expensive) fishing game to me.
Regardless, they have a decent sized stadium and very low wages. I doubt they will be in financial trouble just yet.
I do find it sad that most of the money appears to be going to a manager who tends to over value his players on the transfer market in my opinion. But people keep buying those players, so maybe it's me that's undervaluing them.

Numerous times over the years, I've seen a new or fairly new team get on the transfer market and buy up a whole bunch of players at one time. Could there be something fishy with it? It is possible, but I don't think there's enough evidence at this time to make solid accusations. Maybe I'm wrong and somebody sees something I don't. In which case, it should be reported. But somebody buying up a bunch of players under 20 yrs old from a wide number of sellers doesn't seem like something the devs would look into very hard. Even if it did happen in a one or two day span.
Besides, I never made any claims about it in that regards anyway. Tom 1860 wondered if the team was likely to go under (due to bankruptcy I assume) because of all the large purchases. Based on the size of their stadium and the wages of the players on the roster, I stand behind my statement that the team won't be in financial distress because of the spending spree. With them being an Ultimate Supporter, the manager could probably go inactive for a couple of years and his team would still be there for him (no bankruptcy).
