Agreed ..... it shouldn't

But does he beat his previous opponent without all the renting ? Possibly. Maybe not.
So when is it frowned upon ? Or is it deemed ok when it's against a team in a higher division ?

If you believe that renting is cheating then 1 win by renting is 1 too many in my opinion.

Personally i only consider something as cheating if it violates a rule, or a handshake. I am not renting personally, but not for moral reasons, but because i believe it does not help me to achieve my goals.

Renting is rarely an effective strategy because the 0* Team Chemistry has a large affect on a newly acquired player. A team that is full of these players will almost certainly lose if up against solid competition.

When RENTING gets a little bit ridiculous .... 21 players (so far) that carry a $ 1.6 million wage increase .... all for a cup game .... and all will be released on Tuesday just like the week before

ERSE !!

He would have been better off just keeping his team in tact and taking his loss. Nothing will save him from the 0* Team Chemistry. The manager in question actually has 2 of my former players on his team. haha

2 or 3 of my ex players too
Costing himself another games worth of 'training' for his own players. Just seems pointless. Yeah it might throw up the odd win here and there (know what this game can be like) but it isn't bringing any long term success so what's the point ?

Each to their own I guess

Most of them are banged down on energy too...

I remember when I won the Cup, my opponent rented players. He tried to do this up to the Final, but I just started bidding against him. Wrote him that I had 15 million to spend on nothing, so he backed off and I won the game.

Renting is IMHO ok. It never gives a good edge and I appraise the managers that want to spend time bidding on these players. They keep valuable NT players alive, but this lot has been handled poorly since most of them have energy levels in the 70's and 80's.

Perhaps he just realised that beating you is only for the few of us and tried to make a difference, but clearly, the Team Chemistry hit har taken its toll...
