Just made over 6 million on 5 players (sales price minus all wages and my cost of buying the players.

Two youth pulls and three players bought from the market for less than $195.000.

The tranfer market is mad....

Right. I've been saving up, see? And lately I've taken to browsing the transfer market for players who are ready to step into a mediocre Division 2 side.

Well, I don't mind telling you, every day seems to bring a new wave of broke-ass duffers who have either been trained to breaking point in one skill, or have pitiful physicals. And their starting prices are often laughable.

What are you folks doing?

(Weissbier since you're asking. Cheers ).

With all the madness of the transfer market, I have been unable to sell legitimate veteran talent. I am in negative financial numbers but I'd like to personally thank the managers of Swampland Golden Wyvern and Demon Bridesmaids for buying two of my talents and extending my time here on GI. I should be okay for at least the next few weeks. I may have one more sale, not sure yet or I will just fire these guys. The financial struggle has reached an all time low and I'm honestly just considering closing it down, maybe starting over...we'll see. Good luck to all in the coming season

Yeah, there have been some outrageous starting prices on players that are definitely not worth what is being asked for them.

market is mad in more than one way

I feel your pain Gatr22. I'm not quite in the dire straights you describe but I'm not far off. The downfall of the passing game has finally caught up with my bankroll. I was fortunate that I always built RB's that were balanced so I had an easier transition.

Making things worse is now there is really no market for the TE's, WR's and CB's and high end passing QB's to get true value for them.

Its hard to find players that have been trained up well but its mostly due to the lack of active managers in the game i think. Then you find a player who has been trained up realy well only to realise that his is extremely weak and any defensive end farting in his direction is going to knock him to the floor. But in all honesty what do i know, i have a 2 mill wage bill and i have never made it past division II lol.
