A 4.5* bpos player with 19/20 skills will most likely play at 5.0 bpos. All mine do.

Getting a few names together that may be worth taking a look at.

Cameron Cartwright 33 yrs OL 4.5 star bpos - Herne Scorpions
Tyler Jack Coghlan 33 yrs CB 5 star bpos - Celtic Guardians
Joseph Daniel Sinclair 27 yrs QB 5 star bpos - Seattle Seahawks
Ethan Bolton 30 yrs SF 5 star bpos - Seattle Seahawks
Ashley Borland 26 yrs QB 5 star bpos - Venice Dolphins 11
Ben Coghlan 30 yrs CB/KR 4.5 star bpos - Helena Headbaskets
Brandon Wallace 31 yrs OL 5 star bpos - thirdandlong.co.uk
Matthew Birthistle 29 yrs SF 5 star bpos - Kitchener Kestrels
Dean Fitzsimmons 34 yrs DL 4.5 star bpos - K. A. F. Guardians
Toby Brodie 31 yrs LB 4.5 star bpos - La Spezia Sprugoleans
John Grassick 30 yrs OL/DL 5 star bpos - Weasels

So what do we know about this Dad's Army? Im not frightened to play dual threat players. 4.5 bpos will get a run if they meet the criteria. Consistency isnt overly important but I like atleast 17 strength and speed. I would certainly like to add one beast kr if available.

Cheers.

Cartwright - I'd be wary about his stamina
TJ Coghlan - He was in the team last cycle but I think Dan dropped him before you took over. Decent backup CB.
Sinclair - Check his con. Not great for a QB IMO
Bolton - I think he'd be a good addition to the team. We need a bit more depth at SF
B Coghlan - check his tackling skill. Last time I looked at him it wasn't balanced with his other skills.
Wallace - bit of a one skill wonder, plus lower physicals and low stam
Birthistle - Like Bolton he could be a good add to the team at SF. His con might mean he's a bit hit or miss though
Fitzsimmons - could be a backup at DL if needed, but 4.5 BPOS, low tacticals and lowish stam
Brodie - He was in UK NT the cycle before last. I think I dropped him as he was 4.5 BPOS and we have a great core of 5* LBs. He would be a good backup player though.
Grassick - He was in the team last cycle but dropped by Dan. IMO his stam needs to be higher to be in the starting team but definitely a good backup to have.

Hope that helps

In general, I remember that these are players who are good, but have one or two aspects that prevent them being NT quality. My own Josh Grassick for example has very low consistency, which is something I'd really like for an Offensive Lineman.

We actually have two of the best Kick Returners in the world, dual role players of course. Both of them often get 4* ratings at that position which is incredibly rare.

Added:

Hope that helps

Brady (WR), Millar (DL) and Grimes (OL) are all on the market as well. Millar and Matheson are the only ones who hasn't been bid on yet.

Have scouted Brendan Blackburn, and reckon he is certainly worth a recall. The good thing about older players in bot teams is that they don't seem to decrease in physical skills as other players would.
