I took stamina here for fitness level.
But basically players don't lose stamina penalty for playing two ways or any fitness at all by playing a game?

Kinda unrealistic, but at least they won't have 0% fitness in a couple of weeks

I see what you're trying to do, but still I ain't sure you're handling this one right.

Most of my players who played in friendly game lost 5-6% fitness.
So players who play a single game in a week need to be trained on VERY LOW training just to MAINTAIN their fitness. (at least if +5 to +6 fitness points equals +5% to +6% in fitness)

So in 1 or 2 weeks every manager will be forced to train on very low intensity to let the players MAINTAIN their fitness levels.
After 5 (?) weeks or so in the season the cup starts and we have 2 games a week...see where I'm heading?

Then at least some players will have to play twice a week (I can't see anyone owning 46 players by then) and even training on very low intensity won't even help to maintain fitness!!!

Players will just drop in fitness untill they re 0%.

Either you will have to lower the fitness % lost during a game or you'll have to add some fitness% during a weekly update.

P.S.: And I didn't even take friendlies into account...

Partly regeneration would be kewl.
Especially coupled with a loss of fitness when playing a game and with individual training intensity orders
Then you could train your backup players on high intensity, and your first team will have to train on low intensity cause of the fitness drop.

But this would ask for a lot of code I guess. (seperate training orders, I guess the loss/gain of fitness doesn't require that much new code)

Just a couple more remarks with fitness
I still think there is too much randomness in it.

Take 2 players for example, both with the same training regime, but with different randomness.
Training schedule for both players : Max, Max, Very low, High,Low intensity over 5 weeks.

Player A gets screwed by randomness and has the following fitness adjustment over 5 weeks: -10,-10,+5,-6,+3, so starting with 100%, he ll end up with 82% after 5 weeks.

Player B however gets blessed with randomness and has the following adjustment (with same training schedule!) -5,-5,+6,-3,+6 and ends up with 99% after 5 weeks of trainig.


So after only 5 weeks there can be a gap of 17% of fitness of players following the same training intensity. (= over 80% across the duration of a whole season)

Moreover, there is no way of closing the gap (except of being blessed with random or train very low intensity for the rest of the season so they both get 100%, meaning a loss of training points for most of your players).

Just my 2 cents
