just use the callups. not like scouting for USA is hard anyway theres a top 100 list for a reason. be happy you dont need to go through 50+ teams transfer history in search of a capable offensive lineman and still come up empty.

I will use call ups after I exhaust those willing to scout options, as it saves wasting call ups on players that can't make the team. Also, I'm including players that are a bit younger and may deserve near future consideration

Not a bad idea. It's highly unlikely team USA will need to play its #4 TE or WR, and that makes it a lot easier for future coaches to find some of our brightest young talents; not difficult to find the country's top QB when he was placed on the roster 3 years ago as an up-and-comer.

The future is looking bright for USA QBs, there are several very good candidates that are about a season or two away from being really good

I see our Present QB star Phipps was bought up yesterday for about 1.5 million and then put immediately back on the market for 7.5 million. I can't see the sense in that. Surely his value didn't increase 500% in less than 24 hours?

7.5m for a 30 year old?

Unless he pulls a Brett Favre and plays til he is 40, I wouldn't even pay 7.5k

Just to be clear, he is worth a good chunk if you were div II or TD team and needed a very good QB for a couple seasons until you were able to transition another QB. He's the 2nd best current USA QB in the game, in my opinion and if I didn't have the German NT QB on my roster, I'd pick him up, just not for 7.5 million. I can't even afford 1 million, but he's worth a million for the right team for sure. I would disagree with the under 10k value listed above

And I have a quarterback that will be ready in the future.
