Big Congrats to stevie76 and his Scottish Raiders on winning the Iron Bowl

Thats the double complete with the regional cup already in the bag this season.

Some season mate and a possible treble on the cards if you secure the league on Saturday.

After that any chance you could just go bot (hahahaha) and let the rest of have a chance of some silverware

Way to bring home the bacon mate

Thanks mate much appreciated

Ps. Your request is under serious consideration

Nick9 -

Congrats on a great game and a great season. Finish it off with your TD Title this weekend

You called it 100 % with your defensive changes
I was thinking "pass pass pass" all week only to change my mind today and run the ball .... and I ran straight into your first defensive change in a long time !! Great call by you and only beaten by the craziness that is GI.

Your Iron Bowl is coming ... no doubt

Wow Stevie. An amazing accomplishment on top of a truly historic season, so my hat is off to you. I was lucky enough to meet you in the IB when you were raw and inexperienced, but now you are on a whole different level and thus there is no doubt that you would kick my ass to the curb.

On a side note, the Red Dragons are officially cursed: 0-3 in the IB is hard to believe.

Our game in the group stage was marked red in the calendar for a long time, Stevie. In the end, I would have probably not made it to the Iron Bowl anyway, but you showed on the field dominantly that you have the better squad this season. Apparently, that's true for basically every opponent. Congratulations for a well deserved first Iron Bowl.

Thanks mate much appreciated

They say that "you never forget your first time" .... and so yes I def remember the whooping you handed me in our IB

It set you off on an extremely impressive run though. Was it 4 IB wins in 7 seasons ? Can't be many teams who've been that consistent

Thanks mate.

Yeah I knew that if I had any chance of making it through the group then I'd somehow need to get a result against yourself. But the result was extremely generous to me. There was absolutely nothing between our teams on the stats board at all. It just seems to me that I got all the lucky 'dice rolls' that game when I needed them.

Thanks again and best of luck going forward

Would it be possible to have at least 4 teams per group advance to a playoff berth.
I think it will be better than just the group winner to play in the Iron Bowl.
In this way the battle for the first 4 places will be much better.
Just saying.

If you want to play in the IB, then you must win your group. The winner of each group certainly deserves to play for the IB, I see no reason to turn it into a 4 team playoff
