how have you spent your initial budget?

on the whole i would recommend pumping as much money as possible into your stadium. Exec seats provide the best return so try to get as many of these as possible early on.

Avoid investing in staff early on, and like wise don't worry too much about the additional construction buildings, they only become viable later on.

make sure you organise a friendly each week as ticket sales for these (regardless of home/away) are dived between the participents.
It's worth scouting around teams to try and find someone with a large stadium then play at theirs...

also it's sometimes worth looking at the transfer market to try and pick up bargains then sell them on hopefully for a tidy profit.

I did, but it took me a couple of weeks before i got a decent one. I would suggest you wait with that so you don't end up buying a useless player and fire him a week later when you have learned more about the useful stats and so on.

Dave, spend money on more seats and try and get away friendlies with large stadium opponents.
Try not to spend to much in the transfer market.

Don't forget to get your sponsor setup and select game sponsors before each match!

that is the best advice to give new players I missed out on the first four weeks of advertising money.

Also, try to build your stadium in a rotation, if you know what I mean, so you don't have more than 1 section under construction for home games.
