Good news for team GB and the Weasels. I thought he would have hit passed $10. Maybe those days are over.

That age really boosted the price a lot, I'm sure. Very surprised at how much he went for, but I guess since people had to make extra effort to be there, they weren't going to back down easily.

I got my taller 20/19 5* QB for a straight $3 million a while ago. That said, he was a couple years older but that hasn't been a real negative given he has 18 teamwork and trains very quickly with full facilities/coaches.

Grizzlie's next top QB with 20/19 or 20/20 (with 6'7" height, which of course is useless, but adds to perceived value) cost the Australian team who had him $3.5 million at 18/19 yo. Grizzlies picked him up a couple of seasons later with some development for $2.75 million.

So yeah, age really seems to have boosted this price + the fact he's British and British teams wanted him (much like in the BPL where British players are way overpriced ). For all the poorer people out there, you can still get a rock solid future superstar for less than $7+ million if you look.

Alternatively, be projectrracing and pull multiple 20/20 4.5* talents as youths.
