Very happy with the win today. Requiem started with a 52 yard KR but was picked off on first attempt, I score and then it's tied 7-7 and looking like a close game, but then nothing went right for Requiem and everything went right for me. Can't help thinking that I got really lucky.

I'd say Ray has a very strong chance of making it to the Iron Bowl. Everything depends on their next match in 2 weeks against Daudy's Melbourne Jinx.

Hope so but everything has to go right. I'm just happy I haven't been embarrassed so far.

So here I am at 7:30 game time anticipating the kickoff to our AFLC game.

...but then I realise I'm playing away in the smaller stadium and kickoff is later in the day

Let's hope my team turned up to the right place! They always play better without me watching anyway, and same with the NT. It's no coincidence the only losses I've had so far are the only games I've watched live! You could say my presence 'jinxes' my team.

....you've got to be shitting me.

I'm not sure how my DL didn't have more of an impact, and I suppose I guessed the wrong side you would target (given you usually go for the weaker side), but... that ending... after being 2 TDs up... gah.

As Mrcasado said, "So what happened to not watching the game?"

Oh well, well done lions!

Thanks for that, I took the opposite approach today. That's the first league or cup match I haven't watched live since I started (what a loser!) but got the win. One big play did it.
