The new World Cup cycle will start shortly, so everyone that would like to be the new National Team coach, apply now. Go to your national team and click "apply" button next to the "Coach:" text.

You have until Monday, 25th of August to apply.

I'm considering it but i'm sure there will be better candidates, so might enquire about coaching one of the lower NTs instead.

I was thinking the same. Would be nice to get on the NT manager scene but surely there must be more qualified candidates for the UK job than me.

Might see if there are empty slots for small countries and give that a go instead.

I think the UK is blessed with quite a few managers who could fit this role.

I am in no rush to do this again

I've decided to throw my Union Jack patterned bowler hat is in the ring

Hopefully beating the UK twice as coach of New Zealand will count for me, rather than against me

I've already applied for it as well, under the premise of it being somewhat a group effort anyway through scouting etc, but I'm likely to be the least qualified out of anyone applying so at least I'll be there to stop everyone else coming last in the voting! haha.

Will definitely keep an eye out for a NZ-esque team that I could have a go with though.

Certainly not much I can do with my team at the moment, so I should be able to spend the time
