Panthers gone. Thats some good aussie talent screwed on a bot team now.

Blacksmith now far behind either. Italian manager (has Italian team also) hasn't seemed to log in for a while.

Hey look, another team botting just after beating me!

You and I both know he's not coming back

I feel like this and the end of the Panthers signals the end of a chapter in Oceania. We've had rampant multi-use in this region for a while now (mostly from within) from the Wolverines (and perhaps before that) to a few more recent incidents.

I still have a couple of suspicions here, but not at the same level as with some of the past (inc. the Wolverines before the simultaneous death of three similarly Adelaide-themed teams, including his, confirming my suspicions).

Getting closer - 28 all late vs Kamikaze - and in the wet as well. I thought I'd get really hammered in the wet.

Hope to get to 3-3 b4 I play the Jinx.

Looks like new QB might be a winner!

Yeah 1 season is unlucky. 2 seasons in a row is something else.

So double congrats to project for getting the nod for Aus coach and getting a win today vs Kamikaze to take the lead in our league.

Convicts hope to be some sort of threat later this season and into next!

Blacksmith manager hasn't logged in for a week and didn't put in match orders again.

A nice victory for the Wildcats to go along with his selection as NT coach (definitely to best selection for coach IMO, even though I applied myself). They have really re-established themselves as the superior team in the region. And the reason? Well, this is one theory:

It's funny how much better his club form has become since he stopped supporting the Tampa Bay Bucs! Consider it a maturing process

Got Damage next week. They scored 35 points against the Jinx, which isn't a bad effort.

Thanks for the kind words. 3 managers saying nice things about me in 1 day. Who do I need to pay?

On the season. We are only 5 games in. Lots of action and mayhem still to be had.

Some mistakes I made early have caught up to me. I'm running at a loss of 200k per fortnight. I'm afraid I'm going to be selling off most of my current starting lineup and and just playing my developmental players now. I'm probably going to be lucky to get another win aside from bot teams, but this is the best option long term from what I see. So now after this I will be making money again I plan to get relegated (unless two more teams go bot) and go crush some bots in lower divisions, beer up my stadium and return in a few seasons time better than ever.

Kids, this is why you read the beginners forums before jumping into the action.

I'm barely at a profit level myself currently, and I've shaved off well over $300-400k salary per week. So you can imagine what it was like last season before AFLC and Cup started running...

It's part of the problems being in Oceania with cup runs starting so late (and being so short). You have to have the reserve to put up with the very lean start (also contributed to via the attendance reset particularly if you have lots of early home games and a stadium bigger than 60k) and go at least a couple million into the red before the money train big teams in other regions get much earlier start to hit.

Luckily I do have the reserves, and will make a profit by season's end as always. It's just the start of the season that really sucks and can really catch people out.

EDIT: Also, avoid building one skill wonders. I see a lot of your guys are being built like that. Not only is their effectiveness limited, you're paying a lot more a lot earlier in salary!

Probably because I never used to check training as much, once again a mistake made early that I'm feeling the effects of now.
