Well played today, Celt, better team won without a doubt.

Those three third-down conversions on the last drive in the fourth quarter were a killer!

Best of luck with the rest of the cup to you and to the Knights too -it would be nice to get an Irish name on the trophy again!

Was a closer game than the 14 point gap at the end suggested. Celt getting to late scores at the end of either half were telling.

Best of luck to both Celt and Doc in the last 16. Hopefully both can make it to the final.

So coming down the home stretch of season 15, here's how things are shaping up.

Division 2

Gang Green are currently the most likely of the 5 Irish teams in Div 2 to gain promotion to the top. With a one game lead, Celt's next game against 2nd placed Meteors Pegasus is huge. A win will all put certain assure promotion and his next game will be vs the Pugs in the quarter finals of the cup.

Dirreenaling have worked their way back into contention after an impressive win vs Emperatus. Still along way to go in this division, but the final weeks game against the Gnomes will will make or break Donal's season.

Carrickfergus' hopes of promotion suffered a huge blow yesterday having been defeated by bot side Yggdrasil. Even though only one game back, with three other teams ahead, Doc will need results to go his way to keep his promotion hopes alive.

The Celtics are out of promotion running put will be hoping to assure safety in the final 3 games. With a tough run in, Eanna will need to have his boys ready for the run-in.

Captain Morgans will be hoping to re-group in division 3 next season, with relegation confirmed in what was a very tough division.

Division 3

Crusaders will wrap up promotion with a win in one of their final three games.

Prospect Pumas suffered a blow to their promotion hopes yesterday with a tough loss to the Vikings. With Imperial Guard having a favorable run-in and a one game lead over the Pumas, they need results to go their way if they hope to achieve their 3rd promotion in 3 seasons.

Ireland's Team are still kicking in the promotion race and factoring in they still have to play the top 2, they are very much in the hunt.

Dublin Dragons and Western Cowboys will be hoping for better next season in their division with both being out of promotion contention but assured safety from relegation.

Division 4

Newcastle West are still putting pressure on the Mudbugs for promotion. Only one game back Newcastle West will be hoping their divisional rivals the Dublin Heroes can knock off the Mudbugs next week. The Heroes will be hoping to wrap up 3rd in the division after a fine season.

Unfortunately, the Oakland Raiders, UL Vikings and Waterford Midshipmen are all not in contention for promotion, but will be hoping for better next season.

Division 5

Trajin's Pros will be hoping to battle for promotion next season after only coming into the game this season.

Woop, honourable mention. While I hope to be in the race for promotion next season it does seem unlikely that I will promote.
