90 yrd run (Jimmy McDougall)

I think this is the first time I've ever seen a QB run in this game - and what a christening! 177yds all up from the QB and both RBs - interesting. Looks like you're trying to knock me out of that 3-3 defence!

Well done to Kamikaze and good luck to them and the Wildcats this Wednesday.

cya all next season

Was an interesting play. Longest play of the game was a qb rushing. That'll turn some heads. Maybe he was just trying to redeem himself after giving you backs 2 picks.

Congratulations Katsuban. Finally got that TD trophy.

And I will see you all next year (poor Yellow Flag misses out again). Hopefully I can stay a little longer this time round.

Well done on the double katsuben.

SKITG undergoing a big offseason transformation. Already culled five players with a total of $366,562 in salary per week (which may have risen to around the $450,000 region), and potentially will be cutting more (though it's more likely that I'll only cull more if I bring in extra faces). No AFLC next season, and though I think we'd still break even (depending on salary rises on a large list like mine), this is also part of the natural transition plan with the new younger talent coming through, and some of the cut players going on to 31 years of age next season.

Pretty much the norm when you are on the tightrope balancing wins vs wages. reminds me I really need to look at changes also. Normally well on top of it at this stage.

Not impressed with the production of some of my players.

But were some of my my poor offensive results this year because of an attempt to rush in a cheaper not quite ready QB2 as a QB1. And then suffer injury meaning a QB3 was starting some games. QB played much better through the second half of the season, so can only improve again next season.

On paper my defense is the best. But seems to have more holes than swiss cheese and doesn't perform the best. Aqib Talib is available I hear...

If it's underperforming according to what paper stats look like, look no futher than my DL. Pressure is something we just don't really do better than everyone else (except for our last game, where we got a record 9 sacks against the Bergers). I feel LBs were weakest for me, but that will be rectified very soon... I don't suppose I should complain too much though. If we take out that game vs Tiger Bay when they weren't bot (whereas you and katsuben didn't have such a situation), I'd have the best defence in the league in terms of points conceeded.

Offence is where I think my team seriously underperformed. Without sounding too dickish, I think my main receivers probably took 4 spots out of the top 5 best paper builds in the league. At least top 6-8 anyway. There are some flaws with one of them in particular though, but still plenty of improvement (particularly in the TEs) to be had. Won't have the leading WR anymore though, but an able youngster replacement. QB could have been better though, but he was never really a long term solution anyway and did win the double before!

The team last season had a lot of skill inequality too, partially why I think my LBs were the weakest part of my team. Lots of players at the 15-16 level in one or two primaries which are in much better positions now + also there was the midseason LB reshuffle. Out with a slightly slow, underskilled guy playing OLB and in with a new LB who then got picked for the USA NT and has started for them ever since.

Har har don't get too excited. I was playing my newbies as the game did not offer me any reason to try for a win (and it was very unlikely anyways with even my A-team )

Good to see the Trons still in business.

There is rumours Winston Manning want to come to the Wildcats next season.

My roster training/management program tells me I'll have wages of $1,599,800 next season. Will be high jump compared to every other season changeover. We'll see if how the randomness factor gets it close to that figure or not.
