you can use the community search, hosted by me. It does not work on google anymore, cause the results were quite poor. So I decided to write a small crawler. The result you can see by using the script (update needed if already installed) or by going directly to http://peters-webcorner.de/gisearch/

@Admins: Sorry for the additional traffic each night, but there is too much information in the forum that cant be used cause no one can find it. I wrote a slow speed crawler, should not affect your server that much, and the update will happen once each night.

GI_chat_button

it adds a button to the community section on the left. This button opens a new window containing a java chat. Java needs to be installed already on your system. We tested it yesterday when the Iron Bowl match was played, and it was quite funny to have a conversation with other "visitors".

Hint1: For the "script haters": http://peters-webcorner.de/gichat/ opens the chat without installing this script

Hint2: The java applet I use is freeware and therefor not signed. Dependend on your security settings you will need to confirm the security warning. The script opens a connection out to irc.ham.de.euirc.net on port 6667, could be your firewall warns you for that. The Chat is based on IRC, for those that want to use own clients like mIRC, the name of the chat room is "#gridiron"

I want to introduce you an Firefox-Addon called linkification. It makes links clickable. This is not by me, but even very useful , as long as we don't have the ability to add "Links to other posts" inside the GI-forums.
