Long injury to no.1 CB. Just what the Bucs needed when the Swifties purchased their second $100K WR.

Haha, yeah I've been paying attention to my receiving core a lot lately to really beef them up. The second guy is a bit of a project. He's got beast potential given his 20 speed, 20 consistency, 6'8" height, and talent (+ 20 catching). Alas, there are some under par aspects to him but we can adjust those in due time with good facilities/coaching/18 teamwork.

Including one of the 5* TEs being dual trained into a WR, I currently have 4 5*BPOS receivers with 20 speed and at least yellow strength. I will more than likely sell off Raabe, but I'm seeing what his max physicals are (I left him at 18/17) and hang onto Aussie Nick Chatres purely for NT purposes. Chatres isn't 5* BPOS, but he is a 20/15 Australian WR with skills currently at 10. Might train his physicals some more to get stamina up and see whether strength is capped or not.

The thing I find the most hilarious about your CB is that you've obviously become so annoyed at his dodgy knees you've decided to sell him off haha. Was considering a cheeky bid given I rate his consistency but I don't want to sign the next Ras-I Dowling who spends all his time injured on the sidelines!

I was gonna sell my other CB. But since this injury occurred and I didn't wanna pay 2 weeks wages for him to sit out injuried. He hit the transfer market instead.

I figure I got 3 weeks to find a suitable replacement. Or rise some aussie talent up the depth chart. Since Harbar can play CB and SF, I can find either and switch Harbar back to CB if required.Last edited on 2013-10-13 at 10:06

But why? Seems a bit odd with no immediate replacement unless you have one on the market lined up. You're not hurting financially and are guaranteed AFLC next season regardless of the cup result, seems a bit weird.

Personally wasn't happy with my pass defense this season. Lots of other teams have stepped up to a new level this season. My pass defense did not, notible my CBs. Probably risking early loses next season, but lifting good aussie talent into CB role won't be a bad thing for long tern future gains.

And we're off. Blanks on both starting offensive drives.

Project going with a new formation :O Could it be that he thought I may implement his 2 Dlineman defence so he could run it up the middle? I tell you what though, 18 yards in his first two attempts despite 2 DTs.

It's been a defensive game but opening up a bit this last quarter.

Crucial stop on 3rd and 3 by the Kickers!

Congrats on the game win mate. Another close one again.

I ran that formation to slow down your offense. And considering my depleated pass defense. Plus our last game your offense came on strong in the last half. I'd been rushing good recently, (Wolverines style ) and thought it might be a good way to slow your down by my offence keeping the ball a little longer than normal. 35 yards from 5 carries today, good for G-I standards. Might have been higher, as one was a 1 yarder TD run.

That worked by the looks of it. I had a few more plays than your offense. I didn't factor in my QB playing like crap. Crappy start rating and play poo all game. Intercepts, lots of incomplete passes once inside your 50. Might have had 10-15 more offensive play if my QB was 100%. But gives me some good data, especially since it was against a top defense in full game mode.

My pass offense really did nothing special all day. Not one big play. Have a crap day, the defense will punish you. SKITG defense did just that. Got inside your 50 8 times today, no points from 5 of those series.

At least it was close. I that my depleated pass defense would've been ran over.

The best team wins on the day. Congrats again.
