Legendary WR Jerold Morin has been cut 3 times this world cup cycle and was recently picked up by a D.5 team from Iceland with a stadium size of 1000 seats. This team has picked up many high priced players (and more than one NT player) in the last 2 weeks..

Needless to say, the team will quickly go bankrupt unless they cut Morin an most of their other signings right away.

It's a shame that a player like Morin is winding down his career in such an ignominious way.

He's still productive at that age, what a shame he goes down in that way. Not everyone gets to ride off into the sunset I suppose...

It is too bad that not everyone gets to ride off into the sunset like, say, former NT starter Normand Pipes. He was on the Black Stars his whole career, and now they've even named their stadium after him. Morin is really going the T.O. route, isn't he?

I would like to see more legendary players honored in a similar fashion. What other USA NT players deserve to have a stadium named after them?

I would say if Paul Lofton would have been on only 1, maybe 2 teams throughout his career, then definitely him. But he kind of bounced around a bit, so I'm not sure, especially now that San Diego Blitzkrieg looks to be going bot, because he has a few fantastic players on the NT

Perhaps not actually.... it looks like Solana Steve logged back on today. Maybe he changed his mind and decided he's not done?
