Managed to sneak past the banana peel game against Tiger Bay. They were 14 points ahead at half time, and finished with a completion percentage of over 63%! D:

I watched that game. I thought they had it in the bag when the scored on all their first 5 drives.

Wow a huge 49-7 point win against a near-full strength Melbourne Thunder side.

Solid win mate, will give you a boost in morale for sure and something to work with going forward.

Awesome game that, especially considering the context.

Indeed. The lead swapped so many times. Watched it since my game was versus a bot.

Congrats, Daudy.
Heck of a contest. Stopping my first drive with a sack proved the difference! (Kinda stunned my kicker actually booted a 41 yarder there.)
I need another ace WR to take this team higher, I think.

Yeah, that was a topsy turvy game. I'm glad I wasn't around to watch it live, as I would probably be tearing my hair out. I don't trust kickers enough to attempt FGs that long, haha. I remember last NT cycle our 5*, 20 kicking, 19 consistency kicker couldn't hit one to save his life in one or two games, so I doubt my lesser kickers would do so.

The real difference between this year and the last (besides some skill improvement, with plenty of ceiling left) is my new gun WR. He's essentially the same physicals and build as what I want the WR core to be, but just further along the line in development. The bonus thing was, at the time I had my eye on another WR (a Finnish one) that got all the market attention and went for far more money, and yet was slightly inferior. Subsequently, I got him for a very cheap transfer, and had the finances to accommodate his salary. The other receivers I have are also significantly more skilled than before, but not near his level yet with all his 20s (and perhaps won't be depending on finances). Scariest thing? He's not Italy's no. 1... (so I'm hoping we don't play them).

Title is still definitely up for grabs though. I'm a good chance to be pegged back one this week, and you never know with a couple more other active coaches on the horizon too. Any tied record has me losing, thanks to my vastly inferior points difference to both Kamikaze and Project. Funny that, given it's so much worse but we're two wins ahead!

Kami and Bucs have played all their bots. You still got 2 bots left. You'll catch up.

It's a must win for the Bucs this week. No win = season gone.

I doubt we're in for a chance anyway. We haven't really gone for points against bots this season as doing more roster developemental stuff. And it shows being 164 points diference behind Kami. So even if somehow the dominos fall in our favour, we'd still be in a uphill battle with the points differential issue.

Kept it close against Tiger bay Bucs. On a solid stretch. I have Kamikaze next week. Keeping them below 60 points would be huge for me.
