Most, but not all, of my players are now maxed out on physical stats, and most are now training in either attacking or defensive skills.

Is now the right time to be hiring attacking and defensive coaches at level 20, or should I still be looking to save up cash/expand my stadium?

I've already decided it's not worth hiring level 20 kicking coaches, but is it advisable to hire level 20 tactical coaches, in view of the crucial importance of having an effective QB?

I will be interested to hear this too. I have a pretty good chance to get promoted to level 3 next year but am more concerned about building cash and my player base. I'm not sure when is too soon to start adding coaching because I don't want my players to get too expensive where I can't afford them.

I would go for 20 Defensive first, then Attacking, Tactical and finally Kicking

Division of Hell - Season 4
3.7 Season 6
2.3 Season 8
Regional Cup Winners - Season 8
TD Season 9
IV.25 Season 26

So you would upgrade one by one and pay the hiring premiums? Just making sure I understand the suggestion.

Is there an advantage in doing it that way as opposed to say hiring 10 level defense, attacking and tactical?

I got all of my coaches at once, 20 on everything but kicking (took a 10 on that). The hiring premiums are a little steep when you are in division 5, and I figured that with needing to train more than just physicals, that it was better in the long run to get them in one batch. I would advise against buying each coach, one at the time. Possibly going in two batches would work (physicals in the first buy then the rest in the second). If you end up paying signing bonuses each time and do multiple signings, you end up blowing a good bit of cash.

if you dont have a training hall, consider doing that and max it out. that is 20 training points to all non fitness skills.

if you are gonna do coaches, then off and def full 20, same time all at once. you wont need tactics coach for some time. due to getting points from training hall etc.

i've never had kicking coaches. with the training hall, you kicker will have 31-40 training points (depending on teamwork) towards kicking skills. 295-380 training points for punting per season, and 295-380 training points for kicking per season. only takes 2-3 seasons to get to 10 punting/kicking skill level.

Once you have all VIP and exec seats and a decent amount of regular seats, (@ 15,000-20,000 total seats), you should be in good enough shape to afford all coaches. It is cheaper in the long run to buy all coaches you want at the same time. Remember that anytime you buy coaches, you need to re-buy what you already have if you want to keep them too (highly recommended). So, if you already have fitness and want to add everything but kicking, make sure you buy 20 fitness coaches in that hire as well. The key to keeping salaries down for a while is even training across the board instead of one skill for a long time. Find out what skills are needed for each position then train each skill up one point at a time.

As mentioned above, if you don't already have training hall, buy that first, wait for it to be finished, upgrade it fully, then buy all coaches.

I've decided to take the plunge and hire new coaches at level 20 in every position (apart from kicking) but for some reason when I click the hire new button and confirm I'm sure I want to do this, for some reason the staff don't update and I'm still left with level 1 coaches in every position.

Please help!
