Also, be prepared for the possibility that your first league game is away. If you're barely able to get by now, that extra week will definitely do you in.

I think the schedule they referred to was for the World Cup games. The new league schedules don't usually come out until season rollover.

Remember to check for players increasing in wage and dump them before the financial updates if you can't afford them next season. Don't try to sell unless you are gonna make more money selling than paying his wages.

Can't you wait and see before dropping players. I thought the wage adjustments happen on sunday then you pay those new wages on weds as per usual. Unless i'm mistaken?

k, read other one says wednesday, this one i see now says fri, plus read its best to build on a wen, so i guess that's why it was changed then, guess just build when ever get out of the red

The benefit of doing it on Wed is between the hours of 0:01 and 3:59 server time (ie 6pm eastern time in the states). This way you have construction going on for three economic updates instead of the normal two updates. I hope this answers your question.

Yup... Just be a good boy scout and be prepared...

Quick note to say I survived ... by $43k ... thanks for all the help.

I certainly will not be buying players again on a Tues and releasing others on a Weds ... got a double whammy on salaries that caused all the grief.

Thanks again

Awesome. I did wonder if you got booted, you were skating pretty close. Have a great season.
